Built-ins are the difference between furniture sitting in a room and a room that was designed around how you use it. And because they are made for your space, they fit the wall you actually have instead of the wall a catalog assumed you had.
I do finish carpentry, built-in cabinetry and shelving, stair and railing work, trim and doors, rough framing, and custom welding and fabrication. That last one is not common for a remodeler, and it is why I can build a cable-rail staircase or an iron gate without handing the metal work to someone else.

The welding side is the part people are usually surprised by. Between the cable-rail staircase and the iron ranch fencing in my gallery, a fair amount of my work involves metal that most remodelers have to sub out. Do you build custom pieces or only install what I buy?
Both. I build custom, and I install pre-made if that is the better fit for your budget. I will tell you which one makes more sense for what you are actually trying to do.
Do you really do your own welding?
Yes. Welding and fabrication are in-house, which is why the metal gate work and the cable railing in my gallery were done by the same hands that quoted them.
Can you match existing trim in an older home?
Usually. Older profiles are often no longer stocked, but they can frequently be matched closely or milled. Send a photo and I will tell you what is realistic.
