What decks & patios looks like in Rockwall County
Backyards in the newer Royse City and Fate developments almost always start as a slab and a fence, which is a blank canvas. Around Heath and the lake, it is more often a covered or screened structure so the space is usable when the bugs and the heat show up. The flagstone fire pit and stone walkway work in my gallery is the kind of thing that turns a plain yard into the place everyone ends up.

Can you build a cover over my existing patio slab?
Usually yes, as long as the slab is sound. That is a common request and I will check the slab before quoting rather than after.
Do you do flagstone and paver work as well as wood decks?
Yes. Flagstone patios, fire pits, and stone walkways are a regular part of my outdoor work, not something I sub out.
When is the best time of year to build a deck?
Honestly, whenever you are ready. Spring books up fastest around here, so if you want to be sitting on it by summer, reaching out early in the year is the practical move.
